Today’s Scripture:
2 Corinthians 3:18: “But we all, with open face beholding as in glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the spirit of the Lord.”

Today’s Word
The bible makes us to understand that out of the heart comes the issue of life. Before an attitude can be changed, a change of mind must occur. I could remember when my first daughter was just 3 days old. I had to take her to the clinic for a checkup and possible immunization. It is amazing how three adults in a car can have a diversity of thoughts. My sister, who is also the driver, was thinking about how she will beat the traffic after dropping me off at home to meet Pastor Adeboye’s preaching at redemption camp ground in Lagos / Ibadan Expressway. I was thinking about how to get home and express breast milk for my baby since it is engulged. Unknown to us, the third person, who was my colleague from work, was thinking about what would happen if there was an accident. As she continued to nurse that in her mind, a driver took the wrong lane and hit our vehicle head on. Praise God, we all escaped without a scratch, although the car was a write off.

God wants us to put our thoughts under subjection. When you look at yourself in the mirror this morning, what do you see? Do you see upliftment, new creature, an achiever? Or do you still see yourself for who you were yesterday? Negative thoughts attract disaster and can cause situations to get worst. If you expect a change for the best, ensure your heart is filled with the right thoughts - godly thoughts. As you continue to behold the image of Jesus in whom we have been bound with until the day of redemption, see yourself daily in the same image of Christ, as He takes you from glory to glory.
